Mary Rose joined CILF in June 2026 and is based in the firm’s Toronto Office.
Prior to joining CILF, Mary Rose practiced immigration and refugee law at a boutique firm, where she prepared a broad range of applications, including work permits, permanent residence applications, refugee claims, and humanitarian and compassionate applications. She also represented clients before the Refugee Protection Division. Mary Rose articled in employment and labour law, gaining experience in workplace-related legal issues that compliment her immigration practice.
Mary Rose graduated with distinction from the University of Ottawa’s combined Political Science and French Juris Doctor program in 2023 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2024. During law school, she developed a strong interest in immigration law, focusing on its intersection with human rights, and completed an internship in immigration and refugee law.
Mary Rose is fluent in French.
