Barbara Jo Caruso

Barbara Jo (BJ) is the founder of Corporate Immigration Law Firm. She has practiced immigration law for over 25 years and is a specialist in citizenship and immigration law certified by the Law Society of Ontario. Prior to founding the firm, she was a partner at a national law firm in Toronto. Early in her career, she worked as a Canadian customs officer at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.

Barbara Jo is a renowned expert on Canadian immigration issues. She is the co-author of two major books published by Carswell, Annotated Immigration and Refugee Protection Act of Canada, and Annotated Citizenship Act. She has been a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Immigration Law Section for 10 years, and served as Chair in 2017-2018.
